Medicaid AND child support ordered health insurance?

My husband pays for health insurance for his daughter under the child support order but his ex wife has his daughter on Medicaid too! Why does he have to pay an arm and a leg each month for health insurance for her (she never uses it) because she's on Medicaid! Is this right? What is the point? Who does he need to contact to let them know this??|||Have you notified Welfare that you have insurance with her. She is defrauding the system.

If the custodial parent's income is not enough to support their share of the deductible, then Medicaid will pick up the rest of the bill, deductible, copay etc. I have a friend, her ex has to pay for the insurance and half of the copay and half of the deductible as well.|||Nobody.

If he wants the order changed, then he needs to file a petition to modify the order to eliminate the requirement that he maintain insurance.
