How can an early years practitioner promote child health?

i need to know how i as a student studying early childhood and education, can promote child health in a community?|||Maybe get involved in a community fair, and pass out flyers that will give child health tips, or children's books to promote early childhood literacy. ( If you search your community, you can get lots of donations for the books)
