Hawaii ending universal child health care. Is the government becoming more and more selfish?
here is the story http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081017/ap_on_he_me/child_health_hawaii|||I fail to see how you could attach the word "selfish" to the situation. It's simply a matter of whether it can be paid for. You see, barring a return of the institution of slavery, you can't have universal health care without paying for it. Those who argue that health care is a right, which it distinctly cannot be, forget that health care must be provided by somebody, and the health care provider must be paid.|||No, its called a reality check. It can't afford it. It cannot run it properly. When has the government ever run anything good?|||I'd never even heard of it, and I live here.
